IS A: Website for Sale

This individual seems to be very enterprising, so far he’s “sold” over $30,000/month+ of residual income generating companies for about $1500.I’m sure you will find this individual interesting and entertaining.
Here is what I think…
Yes, this seller is obviously not trying hard to even appear reputable. Interestingly, this is the same Flippa user who is giving DYWebWorks a hard time (see comments).

This guy Lynn Holley said he can build our website using Drupal. His total price was $6000.00. After months of negotiations we start up the deal and send him $3000.00 to start the site. He then came up with excuse after excuse why our site was not being produced and then broke off contact. Before he changed his number we asked him to pay us back in payments or trying to work with him. He would not contact us. He lives around Dallas – Denton area and moves around between Austin and Dallas.
I tracked some of his customers down but they didn’t call back and the hosting company his site was with told me he is a scam artist that does this to many people and this is how he makes his money.
Here is what I think…
Sorry to hear that this happened to you. It appears the domain name is not even registered so I am not sure where to go with this. I am surprised his hosting company told you that… Do they still host for him? What is his site? With this little information there is not much I can do other than sympathize for you.
George Pappas Jr (er, jackjohnson31) Selling BigSportsPicks.com
Dec 21st
Well, it has been interesting to see many scammers we’ve helped get removed from Flippa come back. Thus far, Flippa has been giving a pass. However, I am going to let Flippa know about this sports betting site for sale which is another product of George Pappas Jr.
George couldn’t even change his account naming habits on this one — he seems to be fascinated with the number 31. One of his past banned accounts is hotsportsplays31 and this new one is jackjohnson31.
Ugh, Mr. Pappas…. Please, give your victims a break at least around the holidays. And, you’re just a kid — it is not too late to turn your life around!
DYWebWorks Selling AETraffic.com on Flippa
Dec 20th
Wow, here is an auction that might take the cake for HIGH RISK. The site claims to make over $8000/mth profit. It is called AETraffic.com and is being sold by DYWebWorks on Flippa.
OK…
With just a few quick looks we can see a few major problems with this listing which asks for over $99,000…
1. Unmentioned Carbon Copies
This site has some carbon copies out there that the seller fails to mention.
buyawebsitetraffic.com – buywebstraffic.com
2. Clearly Carbon-Copy Testimonials
The “testimonials” on AETraffic.com can also be found on other sites. Exactly as they appear on AETraffic. The same testimonials can be found on traffickita.com and raposhop.com. Look through those pages… See testimonials that are EXACT to the ones on AETraffic.com?
3. Past Flippa BANNED Account
Just look at this auction and notice the suspended seller. What else do you notice? The seller is selling the same mis-spelled domains (JAPANCIPUD.COM) as DYWebWorks and, not only that, has the same phone number as appears on AETraffic.com.
DOH!! DYWebWorks I think you better come clean and start trying to help people rather than mislead them. What do you think? This auction is one of the worst I have seen. I will report the seller to Flippa and see if they agree. Perhaps like in the case of Invictus7/SmartBusiness they will “believe” it is not the same seller. Who knows. For me, this is too risky to even consider.
UPDATE: FLIPPA HAS BEEN CONTACTED AND THEY SAY THE SELLER HAS MADE THE PROPER CHANGES, BUT I STILL DO NOT SEE ALL THE SITES OFFERED AND AM NOT SURE WHAT THE SELLER MEANS WHEN HE SAYS THE OTHER TESTIMONIALS WILL BE “TAKEN CARE OF”. HOWEVER, AS POINTED OUT BY FLIPPA, THE OTHER SITES WITH THE TESTIMONIALS SEEM TO BE IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE (MINUS THE TESTIMONIALS THEMSELVES). SO, THIS COULD BE AN EXAMPLE OF ANOTHER FIRM STEALING AETRAFFIC’S TESTIMONIALS.
Are there ANY good sites on Flippa?
Dec 16th
Here is an email I received…
Message Body:After reading the information on your website I wonder if any websites that are for sale are
legitimate, especially on Flippa. What am I supposed to do if I want to buy a running website and I have the money to pay for it?Thank you very much,
jeff goldstein
Here is what I think…
There are good options on Flippa and elsewhere. This site is simply about scams, so that is mainly what you will find here. Just be careful and investigate every claim before buying a website. Make sure you contact the seller directly, feel comfortable with them, and weight any red flags that come up. If you are buying for the first time I would get your feet wet by buying something you can easily afford (leaving much $ left over) and see how you did… See if that test purchase works out as you had expected. If not, you are not ready to spend more / buy more.
Is The Blog Ads Network offer legit?
Dec 15th
Here is an email I received…
Subject: Is purchase of blog legitimate
Message Body:
Hi,There is a particular offer on this website that I would like to know if it is real or not. The website is http://careermaster.biz/about/
Basically each blog is part of a network of about 2000 blogs. He calls it the Blog Ads Network.
He indicates to you that by purchasing one of these all you have to do is copy and paste articles to the blog of which you are being paid by other website to put them their. The network supplies you with the articles every day.
You can make a purchase for any amount from $100 to $30000. If you purchase for $100 the income generated will be between $17 and $20 a month or invest $1000 the income will be about $170 a month and so on up to $30000 where the income would be $5000 or more.
Is all of this possible. He would either start a new blog for you or give you one that is already generating income. He also guarantees your money back if you are not happy.
Could you please tell me if this opportunity is on the up and up.Thank you very much,
Jeff
Jeff, I don’t have to look very far into this one to tell you it is not legit. All they are giving you is a pop-up wordpress blog with recycled content. The blog isn’t even well setup. It is terrible. If the fact that their “PayPal Screenshot” shows their browser to be in a foreign language and that their testimonials all link to junk look-alike blogs then I don’t know what is… STAY AWAY. This is clearly garbage!
Flippa Banned / Suspended my Account – Help!
Dec 14th
Here is an email I received from someone who felt like they have been wrongly banned / suspended on Flippa…

I just bought a website at flippa. I have had many successful transaction. Both buys and sells. Now flippa makes a claim that I owe a huge bill from an account they said I owned over a year ago because my payment was the same. they say if I do not pay this bill that is owed I can not continue to buy and sell at flippa.I can assure flippa and anyone else that the claim is false. I can verify any info they want. I have only EVER had one account. I am not sure if they made a mistake or are just retards thinking I am a sheep and will just hand over some more money for nothing to them so I can continue to sell sites.
Anyway this goes I will never use flippa again.
I understand that mistakes do happen. I have had the same phone number for many years and have telephone verified my account. I am who I say i am and have only had one account. My social accounts are even tied in with flippa.
Why do they not bother to recheck there info. Instead of just demanding me to pay a bill that is not mine!
It is of my thought that the supposed user does not exist and that there is no bill associated with the user that they just want to extort me for money. They picked the wrong person to screw over if that is the case. I will make sure everyone knows about this.
Here are my thoughts…
Well, it would help if you would share your account name and other information. It is hard to understand your case without any specifics. I do highly doubt Flippa is suspending people just on a whim or to try and extract some small dollar amount of fees.
Not that this is related, but I do find it ironic that this mail comes to me right after SmartBusiness (Invictus7) was suspended/banned from Flippa. We have been saying here that they are the same person; maybe this was confirmed by Flippa recently…?
**Let us know more details about your situation and we can talk to Flippa about it.**

I highly doubt Flippa is out to scam you. It is probably a simple misunderstanding or, perhaps, you have an account from the past you forgot about. But, since you say you will never use Flippa again there is really no reason to even worry. I am sure they are not going to send you into collections so just consider your relationship with Flippa over. And, if you DO have a legitimate bill to pay then pay it. If you cannot afford it, let them know honestly and see what they can do to help you.
We have been HACKED / ATTACKED again!
Dec 6th
For a bit over a week we have been the subject of a major DDoS attack. This type of attack has little to do with our servers and their security. What happens in this type of attack is that someone creates a virus that infects unsecured PCs and uses them like zombies to flood a server with requests, causing it to become unstable and unreachable.
We were and are still under a major attack. Don’t worry, this has nothing to do with your info and you are not at risk by posting here, commenting, etc… The scammers just want to make you feel that you are. That being said, the scammer did also attack Clinton’s site because he too was on I Don’t Give a Scam outing frauds and scammers…
In fact, I got this message from “Santa Claus” moments before the attack majorly heightened and brought the server to its knees.
Chris, Clinton, Justin you are all foolish fools and I hate your pungent sites. You are scams and your federals will not care about your idiotic sites and silly conversations are ended. Merry Holidays. P.S. Thanks you for the direct link clinton to your site. Justin can you post yours please? Anyone else want to post a worthless scammy forum?
The comment was left on my “We Got Hacked” post.
It is beyond obvious that the meanie who launched the attack is someone I have outed as a scammer. Perhaps Invictus7/SmartBusiness from Flippa or George Pappas Jr. or perhaps someone else who has been outed here. Which means we are doing good work!
Oh, and George Pappas Jr. (and I will assume his girlfriend Jessica Briddes) did send this message recently:
how the hacking go scumbag? keep an eye on your back, your next
![]()
Ahhh…Â I don’t think Papas is capable of pulling off this kind of attack, but he could have hired someone.
Scammers, I want to congratulate you again! This cost me an entire weekend with my family, several thousand dollars, and some peace of mind. Hats off to your success! Now, please understand… You are not going to get what you want by attacking me. How is this going to keep escalating? Several of you have now even sent me threats on my life. What I have offered to you is a chance to reform your ways and become truly successful. Maybe now it is time to take this offer before you spiral any further into darkness. Scamming, now hacking and attacking? What next? The ball is in your court.
By the way, for those of you who are curious the attack was specifically a SYN flood.
