Is this a scam or profitable?
Here is what I think…
First off, there is a long road between scam and profitable. Just because you don’t make money with something that was sold to you as a money making opportunity does not mean it was a scam. At least in my book. With the website flipping scams often highlighted on this site the “scam” part comes in because the website that is being sold has a listing that has fake/false claims about earnings, traffic, etc.
So, as long as you get the product when you order it (in general) this would not be a “scam” per-se. However, that does not mean it is not junk… Which is exactly what I think it is…
Look, how much farther do you need to look than to see that what is being offered here is the dream — HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE, INVEST NEXT-TO-NO-MONEY, SPEND NO TIME, DON’T WORK HARD, and MAKE MONEY ON AUTOPILOT.
Lucky for us Mr. Tim Yu (or Ewen Chia / Chia Ti Wah) has taken the time to write a guide so others can do what he does and make money doing nothing… Of course do you want to take advice from Mr. Yu? I mean on the one hand, he may be the nicest guy in the world — he found what amounts to a money tree (yes, a tree that grows money) and he is willing to spend all this time and resources writing a guide and website just so you can have this too! And for only $17 bucks! But realistically, I don’t know many people who generate “MASSIVE INTERNET INCOME FROM ANY NICHE ON COMPLETE AUTOPILOT” and then decide they need to work harder for the good of the others on the internet so they write a guide so you can do it too.
I mean, one of the easiest ways to fall into a “JUNK-TRAP” online is to get wrapped up in the notion that someone has discovered some big secret that means you can simply exchange money for more money. That is what Mr Chia (Yu) is saying, right? You give him $17 and he gives you thousands, no, hundreds of thousands, no, wait — unlimited money in return. After all, if you have to do (next-to) NOTHING but pay him $17 to get unlimited cash in return, then he might as well just trade funds with you… Right?
THE PRODUCT ITSELF?
Mr. Wah is selling you information on how to start and autoblog… “Fresh content daily” that you do not have to write. So WHERE do you think the content is coming from? Well, it MUST be from others. Your autoblog is simply using what others have written and copying it onto your site. Is this illegal? Nope. Many authors are happy to allow you to use their works on your site. But the question is, is it valuable!? Well, if everyone in the world can put the same information on their site (autoblog) then what value does it have to you? You can be one of the many people who have this “fresh content” on your site. And if the idea is that search engines are going to rank you high because you have so much “fresh content” you should read up on what search engines think about duplicate content.
I don’t want to go on all day on this subject — I have work to do! So I will close with this… When checking out ANY opportunity simply ask yourself — does this sound like reality as I know it? Or does this sound like a fantasy? Ignore the hype! Remember, just because there is hype doesn’t mean an opportunity is not good, however you must look at the offer through a hype-free lens and see if there is anything to it but hype. If someone is claiming you can buy something for very little money that will make you tons of money with no work — well, you know what the reality is, don’t you?
Thanks for writing me. Take care.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON INVESTING: You should never waste money — be it $17 or $17,000,000… So it is great to give due diligence to any product before you buy it. However, if you are worried about investing in a product because you cannot afford to waste the money (lose it) then you are NOT ready to be investing. Always ONLY invest what you can afford to lose. Every business investment is a risk. Invest only what you can afford to lose.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON CLICKBANK: This product is sold through ClickBank. Any product sold through ClickBank will have a money back guarantee that WILL be honored. So, you do not really need to have fear when buying one of these products. If it doesn’t live up to the hype, return it. However, you must be ethical and honest. You should not return something just because you changed your mind or because you want the information for free. Authors work hard to write these books and build their sites… Honor that with your integrity — only returning goods that have failed to meet their hype, not your personal desire.
George Pappas Jr Selling victoriouspicks.com on Website Broker
Feb 1st
This guy never stops, it is so sad. If I could meet this guy I would give him a big hug and share Gods word with him. He needs the Light in his life so badly. But instead he insists on going further and further down into the rabbit hole.
He is now selling victoriouspicks.com on Website Broker.  If you have seen anything from Pappas before, you know the claim — making thousands, I will email you proof of last three months. Of course the site was registered less than a month ago.
He also has decided to build a site to use to defame his ousters… The concept is — I will continue posting bad stuff about you until you take the stuff you have posted about me down. Of course, what he is posting is just some babbling nonsense and if anyone has a concern about his postings I would be happy to address them here. As I have stated before, this is a common direction many take — if you post about me, I will post about you. Ah, the internet!
But, I have no hard feelings towards George. I want him to stop scamming people, but I would be happy to help him move forward in any way I can. I know Andre who originally contacted me about George has forgiven him and moved on as well. t is so unfortunate that Pappas has chosen to continue down a self-destructive path.
George, man, I would be happy to talk to you. There is freedom in cleaning up and moving forward. Way before this time next year this can all be behind you. Don’t fight for pride; you know what the truth is. We have PayPal screenshots, Flippa shots, conversations with you, etc all clearly showing what as occurred. If you wish, I can release all of the information I have so that the public can make a better decision as to what has transpired to tarnish your name. But, as you have asked me not to I am still honoring that request.
George, until I hear from you, I recommend you not head down the path of blackmail and defamation. Do you think the result is going to be positive? I am, as is always extended, offering you a better option. Take care.

Here are my thoughts…
The seller is banned from Flippa and if you can provide more details, such as his paypal email address perhaps I can help. This auction is one that should be an obvious red flag.

Initially I was attracted to his website for sale at websitebrokers.com http://www.movieshine.com/ for $495. When I enquired he said he has sold it yet it’s still listed at websitebrokers.com. But he has another similar one not listed i.e. http://moviestatus.com/ he can sell me. He has sent me a paypal invoice. Could he be trying to scam me?
Thanks
Here is what I think…
Both websites are very similar and thy have the same concept, the best way to know if this is a scam is to pay with paypal in this situation you have the way to do it because the seller accept paypalas payment option and paypal protect their customers.
MY ADVICE :Â It could be that this seller have all ready sold his website and make a duplicate websites and he is trying to sell it for the second time with different domain.
i think that you souled ask more proof of income, profit, domain register, you may ask for a contract and bill of sale witch you can notary and by that even if he scam you you can all ways take him to court and sue him.
Good Luck……
Here We Go Again – Another DDoS Attack
Jan 4th
Last month our server was the victim of a DDoS attack. It was a ugly ordeal, but we survived. Shortly thereafter we were threatened with another attack if we did not take this site down within two days. We didn’t, but the (new) attack did not occur and all looked like smooth sailing.
That is until today.
Today the server is undergoing another DDoS attack. Luckily we are better prepared this time, however that doesn’t mean it isn’t causing some problems. HTTP requests are sluggish at best — or they fail and my bandwidth is being chewed-up by the second.
However, as I stated before this is not the way to get me to back down on reporting scammers on Flippa and elsewhere. Sorry.
My prayers go out to the attacker(s); I am sorry you are wasting your time and talents on something so insignificant. I wish you the best in peace and happiness in the new year.

This individual seems to be very enterprising, so far he’s “sold” over $30,000/month+ of residual income generating companies for about $1500.I’m sure you will find this individual interesting and entertaining.
Here is what I think…
Yes, this seller is obviously not trying hard to even appear reputable. Interestingly, this is the same Flippa user who is giving DYWebWorks a hard time (see comments).

This guy Lynn Holley said he can build our website using Drupal. His total price was $6000.00. After months of negotiations we start up the deal and send him $3000.00 to start the site. He then came up with excuse after excuse why our site was not being produced and then broke off contact. Before he changed his number we asked him to pay us back in payments or trying to work with him. He would not contact us. He lives around Dallas – Denton area and moves around between Austin and Dallas.
I tracked some of his customers down but they didn’t call back and the hosting company his site was with told me he is a scam artist that does this to many people and this is how he makes his money.
Here is what I think…
Sorry to hear that this happened to you. It appears the domain name is not even registered so I am not sure where to go with this. I am surprised his hosting company told you that… Do they still host for him? What is his site? With this little information there is not much I can do other than sympathize for you.
George Pappas Jr (er, jackjohnson31) Selling BigSportsPicks.com
Dec 21st
Well, it has been interesting to see many scammers we’ve helped get removed from Flippa come back. Thus far, Flippa has been giving a pass. However, I am going to let Flippa know about this sports betting site for sale which is another product of George Pappas Jr.
George couldn’t even change his account naming habits on this one — he seems to be fascinated with the number 31. One of his past banned accounts is hotsportsplays31 and this new one is jackjohnson31.
Ugh, Mr. Pappas…. Please, give your victims a break at least around the holidays. And, you’re just a kid — it is not too late to turn your life around!
DYWebWorks Selling AETraffic.com on Flippa
Dec 20th
Wow, here is an auction that might take the cake for HIGH RISK. The site claims to make over $8000/mth profit. It is called AETraffic.com and is being sold by DYWebWorks on Flippa.
OK…
With just a few quick looks we can see a few major problems with this listing which asks for over $99,000…
1. Unmentioned Carbon Copies
This site has some carbon copies out there that the seller fails to mention.
buyawebsitetraffic.com – buywebstraffic.com
2. Clearly Carbon-Copy Testimonials
The “testimonials” on AETraffic.com can also be found on other sites. Exactly as they appear on AETraffic. The same testimonials can be found on traffickita.com and raposhop.com. Look through those pages… See testimonials that are EXACT to the ones on AETraffic.com?
3. Past Flippa BANNED Account
Just look at this auction and notice the suspended seller. What else do you notice? The seller is selling the same mis-spelled domains (JAPANCIPUD.COM) as DYWebWorks and, not only that, has the same phone number as appears on AETraffic.com.
DOH!! DYWebWorks I think you better come clean and start trying to help people rather than mislead them. What do you think? This auction is one of the worst I have seen. I will report the seller to Flippa and see if they agree. Perhaps like in the case of Invictus7/SmartBusiness they will “believe” it is not the same seller. Who knows. For me, this is too risky to even consider.
UPDATE: FLIPPA HAS BEEN CONTACTED AND THEY SAY THE SELLER HAS MADE THE PROPER CHANGES, BUT I STILL DO NOT SEE ALL THE SITES OFFERED AND AM NOT SURE WHAT THE SELLER MEANS WHEN HE SAYS THE OTHER TESTIMONIALS WILL BE “TAKEN CARE OF”. HOWEVER, AS POINTED OUT BY FLIPPA, THE OTHER SITES WITH THE TESTIMONIALS SEEM TO BE IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE (MINUS THE TESTIMONIALS THEMSELVES). SO, THIS COULD BE AN EXAMPLE OF ANOTHER FIRM STEALING AETRAFFIC’S TESTIMONIALS.
Are there ANY good sites on Flippa?
Dec 16th
Here is an email I received…
Message Body:After reading the information on your website I wonder if any websites that are for sale are
legitimate, especially on Flippa. What am I supposed to do if I want to buy a running website and I have the money to pay for it?Thank you very much,
jeff goldstein
Here is what I think…
There are good options on Flippa and elsewhere. This site is simply about scams, so that is mainly what you will find here. Just be careful and investigate every claim before buying a website. Make sure you contact the seller directly, feel comfortable with them, and weight any red flags that come up. If you are buying for the first time I would get your feet wet by buying something you can easily afford (leaving much $ left over) and see how you did… See if that test purchase works out as you had expected. If not, you are not ready to spend more / buy more.
